What is SEO

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine's "natural" or un-paid ("organic") search results.

Focus Keyword - A word or group of works that is the focus of the page. This keyword is not relevant for search engines but helps create a cloud to check with your meta data.

Meta Title - The text that is displayed at the page tab on top of your browser. It is also the same text that is displayed in blue in Google search and Bing search results.

Meta Description - This is often (but not always) displayed as the black text in Google search and Bing search results.

Robots - All pages that should be able to be found on a search engine must be marked as “Index, follow” for example pages of products, news articles etc. All pages that should not be found on a search engine must be marked as “no index, no follow”. For example your shipping policy, privacy policy… should be no index no follow.

Authors - Name of the author of the article. If this is being applied to product pages, use website name.

Content Rights - Should always say “All rights reserved”
